A few Saturday's ago we had a little family get-together at cousin Jay's cabin.
Jay and his wife Maryanne are gracious and generous hosts.
There was something fun for everyone to do.
Some enjoyed visiting.
Others had fun riding around on the "machines".
Some played games.
Or climbed.
We all enjoyed eating. Even a little rain didn't deter us.
A few just sat around and hung out.
But...
everyone had fun!
“It is important for us … to cultivate in our own family a sense that we
belong together eternally, that whatever changes outside our home,
there are fundamental aspects of our relationship which will never
change. We ought to encourage our children to know their relatives. We
need to talk of them, make effort to correspond with them, visit them,
join family organizations, etc.” -Pres. Spencer W. Kimball

That was a fun day. Always is. I'm glad they decided to throw a reunion together this year.
You guys always seem to have so much fun at family get-togethers! What a fun day. :)
It is so important to stay in touch with the family. You look like you were all having fun. Cute little grandbabies. Mimi
That looks like it was a wonderful day - and the words at the end of the post are so absolutely true.
