The “Happiest Place on Earth”

We just returned from spending three wonderful days at Disneyland.

(And two really long ones driving in our cars.)

It really is the “Happiest Place on Earth”, just like they claim.

The best part of the vacation was having almost all of our family there (Ten adults and six children)!  We really missed Heidi, Ovidiu, and Paul, but they are flying here in a few weeks and we are excited to spend time with them then.

Check out the web page for Disneyland below.

We only had three days to spend exploring the park, and there are millions of things to do, so we crammed in every second we could.

We took some time to remember my nephew Shane, whom we all miss.

Disneyland offers so much entertainment and fun that everyone can find something to do.

You see people of every age there.

We took turns going on the thrilling rides, kiddie rides,  and family venues.  We watched musicals.  We met Disney characters.

We “people watched” as we sat by sleeping babies.

Everyone loved the parades and nightly snow fall.

(Yes, this was Southern California.  They have magic snow making machines.)

The Christmas lights and music were right out of a Christmas card.

Everything was magical.

Our children all agreed that this vacation was the best one yet!

I’m going to let pictures do the rest of the talking, but I would recommend putting Disneyland on your bucket list if you haven’t been there recently.

Even a little rain didn’t dampen our spirits.

It can be pretty tiring playing that hard, but what great memories we made!

Thanks, Disneyland!

What a wonderful memory making vacation!!! We've been to Disney World in Florida and loved it just as much as our 6 year old at the time. It truly is a "magic" place! Looks like you all had an amazing time there!

That's a trip/family vacation I'd love to take! When our grands are just a wee bit older we'll go - none of us has ever been!

Fun!! We haven't been to Disney since our kids were little. I'd love to go again with a big crowd like you did.

Those are the most worthwhile memories that we can share with our family. So happy for you that you could take everyone.

Seriously was the Best. Vacation. Ever. Well, other than the driving part. We could have done without that part. Thanks for making it such a wonderful trip for all of us. We sure are a lucky bunch to have you and dad.

What a wonderful family vacation! I really hope to be able to do this with my children and grandchildren one year! Your photos really show the beauty of the park and the happiness it brought you to be there!

My son and DIL and grandboys are on a Disney Cruise this week. they left from Texas. I can't wait to see how the boys liked it. The little guy loves Mickey Mouse, so I know he is probably enjoying it the most!
