Lazy Summer Days… (which really aren’t all that restful)

We have been busy playing!

Heidi and Paul came for a visit

-and we didn’t want to waste one minute of together time.

Photo: The birthday boys. Zack with his cousin Paul born one week apart.

Summertime means lots of birthdays at our house.

Paul and Zachary got to celebrate their birthdays together, as they both turned 1 exactly a week apart.  They each got

their own little cake (sticky moments for sure) .

Summertime also means exploring.

We had a lot of fun at the Arboretum at Liberty Park.

WE LOVE LIBERTY PARK!

Since it was a HOT day, a little splashing in the water seemed in order, too.

A little carrousel ride made her day!

Busy, summer days are always great.

Don’t you love it when you are tired from having fun!

What great fun! I can't get enough of babies of any age. These are sweeties and how fun to have them so close together. My nieces had babies a week a part and they have always been buddies. The pictures are precious!

We are having lots of beach days and park visits too - lots of fun! I find that the boys need to be really tired at night so that they don't miss Mummy and Daddy too much. In consequence, this Nana is also very tired!

We sure have had some crazy fun adventures this summer. But I agree, we are all pretty exhausted around here. Lots of fun. But very, very tiring!

Those hot summer days hanging out with the ones that are most impressionable. Somehow water seems to be such a good blend with the little ones as they hunker down to sleep. Keep smiling.
