We have a four day break from school (well, counting the weekend), and I am going to enjoy every minute of my time off. The weather is quite perfect- not too hot and not too cold. Flowers are thriving (now that the hot, dry heat is over).
Fall is in the air.

breaks are ALWAYS good.....everyone needs some downtime eh.
I love how the last of the flowers/plants make one more SURGE (as you said without the oppressive heat) and come alive in the fall.
However........ours in my area have been LONG GONE. We even had our first skiff of snow on the ground yesterday.
